An additional 35 home sites will be available on San Francisco Island, a manmade island located within the 900-acre private lagoon on the property. Ownership

United States citizens can own real estate in Mexico, and Laguna
del Mar has taken significant steps to ensure that its property owners'
investment is secure. Foreign (U.S.) ownership at Laguna del Mar is achieved through a bank trust. The home site is purchased through a Fideicomiso bank trust, with the bank holding the deed of the property. The Fideicomiso trusts are good for 50 years, and are renewable in perpetuity. |

All property purchased at Laguna del Mar is secured by U.S. title insurance offered through Stewart Title. This title insurance will secure property ownership rights through both U.S. and Mexican law. |
